Chynika Wright

Chynika Wright was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She is an Elementary school teacher who has taught in England, South Korea, and Canada. She is an advocate for equity and inclusion and anti-black racism. When she is not educating, she is an avid traveller having visited over 33 countries to date! Her first book, My Unique Name, is based on a variety of some of her personal life experiences and the idea that everyone's name is special and a huge part of their identity and should be pronounced properly no matter what!
