Joe Stanley

Joe Stanley is a farmer, conservationist and writer, and a passionate ambassador for sustainable, high quality British food and farming. With a lifetime of experience on the land, Joe is often to be seen in the national press advocating for positive change in our food system and explaining the realities and challenges of modern farming to society at large. He believes the great challenge of our times is in sustainably feeding a growing world population while reducing our impact on the environment, all while navigating the emerging climate crisis.

Joe holds an Honours degree in history from Durham University and a Graduate Diploma in Agriculture from the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester. In 2020 he was honoured with the National Farmers Union's 'Meurig Raymond Award'.

He is rarely to be found more than ten feet from his trusty Jack Russells, Ted and Toby.
