Jonathan D Hutchison

An experienced teacher, coach, administrator, speaker, and for the last 20 years an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church, I have been active in formal and informal ministry settings. My education includes a B.A. in Government, an M.A in counseling, an M.B.A. in Marketing, and an M.Div. in Theology. I have counseled both individuals and families who are actively involved with examining their life-long journeys of faith. My teaching is based on practical, everyday lessons derived from how scripture, experience, tradition, and reason help individuals to encounter faith. I write for those who consider themselves people of faith as well as for those who are seeking new spiritual knowledge. I also maintain a blog site (http://foundationalhope.com) whose theme is "The Power and Promise of Hope." I believe that every life should have a noble purpose. Prior to entering the ministry, I spent time in commercial banking and twenty wonderful years teaching and coaching in several independent schools in grades 6-12.
