L M West lives near the Suffolk coast with her husband. Her first novel, 'This Fearful Thing' was published in May 2021. Her second novel, 'The Unnamed' was published in February 2022 and her third novel, 'We Three', came out in April 2023. These three books are set during the East Anglian witchcraft persecutions of 1644-5. All are based on true events and confessions and are told from the point of view of the women involved.

'The Red Barn' was published in August 2024 and throws a new light on the infamous Suffolk crime of 1826.
