Emilia Ramos Samper

Emilia Ramos Samper is among the youngest people to publish a novel. She released her debut novel, Crown of Scales and Wonder, at ten, and its sequel, Thieves of Time Forgotten, at thirteen.

Her poems and short stories have been featured in the Gathering the Magic Teen Anthology (foreword by Eragon author Christopher Paolini), the Interlochen Red Wheelbarrow, the Etymos Review, and Kalopsia Literary Magazine. Emilia is a student of the Adroit Mentorship, and her writing has won first place in the LaPlume Young Writers Contest and the Mary Ann Hutchinson Mystery Writers Contest.

She is the founder of Teatro con Corazón, or Theater with a Heart, a non-profit based in Palomino, Colombia dedicated to the education of underprivileged kids through the performing arts. Emilia’s musical theater performances have won Top Honors at the Thespians Festival and first place in the NATS vocal competition. She currently studies musical theater at Interlochen Arts Academy.
