My declaration as author of Influentials. The African and American Women of the African Diaspora are sisters in the challenges they face globally. What we are willing to stand up for, fight, achieve against odds, and die at all levels of societal struggle is worth noting. Whether we are mothers, relatives, teachers, friends or renowned figures our voices and actions deserve recognition. We women are wonderful, intelligent, sensitive, warriors for our people. We are also vulnerable and fragile. Though we have been told to be strong, carry the load, take the hits, be in the background, we deserve so much more. My intent is to bring our story of beauty and influence forward as far and as high as possible for recognition and attention on the global stage.

This book’s purpose brings attention to African and American Women of the Diaspora through visual art and illustrations with stories to advance awareness of our character, beauty, and influence day to day and globally. This first Volume goes from personal to professional to global awesomeness in recognition of amazing women.
