How do we get our people to connect, collaborate, and innovate at a large scale?

For 15 years, I have designed and facilitated processes and enabled

technologies that enable this to happen successfully—to help organizations become

Social by Design (and now written a book on it!).

Basically, I help people talk to and work together at scale in or between

organizations. I designs the facilitation process, builds bridges between silos, and

teach/coach new ways of working and collaborating.

I use my deep understanding of complex human systems and social

collaboration technology to redesign spaces (both in person and virtual) so that

connection and collaboration can flourish.

My work has been featured in podcasts, magazines, and in books, such as The

Neo-Generalist: Where You Go Is Who You Are and Learning Technologies in the

Workplace: How to Successfully Implement Learning Technologies in Organizations.

And I am frequently invited to present on social collaboration at

international conferences.

I love to bring together an eclectic mix of techniques including: Appreciative

Inquiry, the Strategyzer series, Lean Startup, Agile Change, Cynefin, Play to Win,

Double Diamond, Strategic Doing, Collective Impact, improved solutions,

Gamestorming, design thinking, and service design.

I've beenthe global lead for digital collaboration at Kellogg’s and also

worked with organizations such as Coca-Cola, BMO, TD Bank, and Loblaws, as well as

on a major climate adaptation network collaboration project for Natural Resources Canada.
