Cindy Sterba

Cindy Sterba is from Oklahoma and has a long history as a teacher and as a Speech Pathologist who became interested in writing her own stories and sharing them with her students. Her stories include animal characters, good Samaritans, and common childhood nature / nurture experiences. Some stories relate to speech / language activities used in therapy: bombardment for the /gr/ blend is used in the book The Grommet Goats, /WH/ questions are used in several books, story sequence is used with low tech recording devices, character identification, and vocabulary activities. Many stories relate to self esteem issues, fear, beauty, wisdom, and bullying. Christian values are important in the Animal Samaritan series with three books: THe GROMMET GOATS, THE JOLLY RANCHER MEETS UP WITH THE JUNKY RANCHER, and THE BAA BAA BLACK SHEEP WITH THE GREASY FLEECE. These children's books are best read aloud while taking time to explore the colorful illustrations page by page. There are many more self-publishing adventures to come in the months ahead.

Molly Riddle is the talented illustrator for most all of the stories and continues to make the stories come to life, book after book. Currently there are twelve stories to enjoy.
