Dr. Gina M. Riley

Gina Riley, Ph.D. is a Clinical Professor and Program Coordinator of the Adolescent Special Education Program at City University of New York-Hunter College. Dr. Riley has extensive experience in online education and distance learning at the college/university level. For the past 22 years, Dr. Riley’s research has focused on topics related to homeschooling, unschooling, and intrinsic motivation, an interest stemmed in part from homeschooling her own child from preschool through 12th grade. She is known internationally for her research in the field of self-directed learning.
