David Krell is the author of Our Bums: The Brooklyn Dodgers in History, Memory and Popular Culture, 1962: Baseball and America in the Time of JFK, Do You Believe in Magic? Baseball and America in the Groundbreaking Year of 1966, The Fenway Effect: A Cultural History of the Boston Red Sox, 1978: Baseball and America in the Disco Era, and Bo Belinsky: The Rise, Fall and Rebound of a Playboy Pitcher. He edited the anthologies The New York Yankees in Popular Culture and The New York Mets in Popular Culture. David often lectures at the Cooperstown Symposium on Baseball and American Culture, the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention, and Society for American Baseball Research conferences.
