Melissa S Meyer

Melissa Meyer (she/her) is the author of one novel, several short stories, and many poems that probably won't see the light of day. Her work is often dark, sometimes violent, challenges societal norms, and has scared a few people. She's not particularly apologetic about that last part. She also focuses on writing LGBTQ characters.

Melissa is also a Sagittarius sun, Gemini moon, Sagittarius rising, and tarot card slinger. She collects coffee mugs, true crime books, cross stitch patterns, books, and good southern recipes. She's an avid watcher of Schitt's Creek, The X-Files, Game of Thrones, and Hell's Kitchen. Most of the trivia she knows is unfortunately about serial killers.

She has a Bachelor's in forensics, a Master's in Creative Writing, and lives in Ohio with her butter half, Aaron (they/them).

NIGHT MONSTER, the first in a series, is her debut novel.
