Stacie Smith

Stacie Smith is a native born Texan who as a child spent a great deal of time living summers with the grandparents at an old country grocery store, Smiths Grocery, in rural Oklahoma. The old store was always overflowing with live family played music, laughter and home cooked food. Steeped in old time values the grandparents, farm & ranch family clientele along with the history of the old store itself provided a rich and fertile ground for a creative imagination. That old grocery store, its inhabitants and visitors are the subject of many a retold story that are the poetry on the paper today.
