Monique Corker

Monique “Coach Mo” Corker is a well-known motivational youth empowerment speaker who has had a love for books since a kid herself. Not seeing enough diversity in various characters that she so loved while growing up drove her to creating special books to ensure diversity in the fantasy realm for youth especially girls.

Coach Mo’s most prize diverse book to date is Christmas Tales Under the Sea, a book about mermaids from all backgrounds experiencing Christmas in an underwater world. Coach Mo has worked with a number of youth and families and utilizes her experiences with them to transfer transformational messages into literature that is innovative and authentic.

A native of Gainesville, Fl but currently residing in Fort Lauderdale, Coach Mo is a proud wife and legacy builder who holds a Masters’s degree in Marketing from Florida International University and is the mother of son and daughter ages 21, 15 respectfully.
