Zahara Schara is an author, adventurer and an avid reader. Her works include The Last Refugee and The Syrian’s Story. Nowadays she lives outside Chicago with her sweet yorkie, Bear, who is unimpressed that she writes novels. She’s was taught how to drive by Chuck Berry and considers hummus a food group.
