The author’s interest in Old Testament history blossomed at Fresno Pacific College (now University) and some postgraduate study at Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary. He has taught Sunday school at New Life Community in Dinuba, CA. where he attends. His purpose for this book is to assist the reader in coming to a better understanding of scripture and of God.

He believes that faith is a day by day walk. It is moment by moment. Faith goes hand in hand with trust. Trust is allowing God’s way in our life, no matter what the result. Trust is knowing God will catch us when we fall, or if He doesn’t catch us, He will heal us from the injuries of our fall. Or, if we aren’t healed from our injuries, He will keep us safe in eternity. Faith is allowing Him to lead us out onto that limb where we might fall. Faith is one step at a time, knowing that God is directing each step. Faith is allowing God’s way to take place.

So what is living by faith? I believe that living by faith is knowing and expecting that God is leading each step, each word, and each action that we take. It is the conscious decision to allow God’s control. It is taking a step, knowing that God will place our foot where He wants it to be placed.
