Been writing for about twenty-eight years; mainly short stories, being published in small press magazines, and on the net. Although I like writing short stories, and thinking it was my favourite genre, I started to write poetry; some are from personal experiences; some, from things that occur every now and then. It is surprising what the mind can conjure up. With my first poetry book - Writing In Verse, there are a mixture of poems; some about love; others about life in general. There is more than one poem that would be an interest to anyone who likes poetry. I hope you enjoy my first attempt? Reviews are more than welcome.
