A. K. Summer

A K Summer was raised in South London and has spent many years working in various universities around London. She finally decided to become a graduate, albeit part-time, and was awarded a BA in Humanities with Classical Studies.

A K Summer enjoys reading mysteries, especially cosy ones. She is also a keen sailor, and one day noted the outlines for the Corner Rise Seamounts on a chart while sailing across them. This is why her first novel is based on the fictitious Corner Rise Islands.

She lives in London with her husband and a fussy senior cat.
