Wyatt Forrest Taylor developed a love of reading at an early age. Stephen King and Louis L’Amour were among his favorites as a teenager. Later, Taylor discovered Larry McMurtry and David McCullough. McCullough’s John Adams literally changed Taylor’s life, inspiring him to return to graduate school and become a historian.
Taylor has a master’s degree in history and has experience as both a professor and a museum curator. He currently serves as a history professor at two Florida colleges. He lives in Northeast Florida with his wife and three boys. An avid sports fan, Taylor roots for all things Boston: Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics.
