As a child born into a family of mariners, I always knew what I would be when I grew up. Just as I told everyone I came across, I became a tugboat captain. Although I love what I do and there is nothing like being on the water in control of those big boats and barges, I began to feel I was not using my full potential. I felt my mind becoming stagnant as I sat in the wheelhouse day after day. Giving up the boat life wasn't an option for me but coming up with new ideas has always been a hidden talent of mine. I decided to put my mind to good use and pursue writing while still maintaining my career. New ideas for stories flooded my mind as I began to write them down. Now, as my first book is published, I look forward to sharing every one of them with my readers. I hope you find joy in reading these stories as much as I enjoyed writing them.
