I'm a refusing-to-grow-up, Gyroplane Flying Instructor who felt passionately that he wanted to write animal adventure stories for Children of ALL ages and fell to doing this in recent years.

I am enjoying it immensely and have now completed and published the 2nd book in my Illustrated Childrens' Adventure Series, "Rufus and The Flying Carpet", and I’m working on the third as I edit this 'bio' in December of 2025.

I was offered a 'challenge'; to conceive of a plan for a book on a subject close to my Heart, and then to write it in no less than 5000 words and to edit, proofread, format, design a cover, publish it on Amazon and sell at least one copy within 7 days... And I did it ! (With critical editing help from my daughter, Joanna, who also redesigned the cover !)

"Badass Consciousness - An Easy-to-Follow Guide to Becoming Totally Aware" is the result.

("Badass" is American slang for, surprisingly, "Formidable in Strength and Skill" !)

I was also 'driven' to create the little illustrated booklet about "How to tie a Bowline" (pronounced "Bo-Lin") since it is the most important knot in the World and would best be known by everyone, for all sorts of reasons, including life-saving ones !
