Wladimiro Borchi

Wladimiro Borchi was born in Florence on February 3, 1973.

A criminal lawyer, he is the author of numerous novels.

In 2021, his novel Vivo nel buio was published by Bibliotheka Edizioni. It won the “Streghe, Vampiri & Co.” award in 2019 and received an honorable mention at the “Premio Argentario” in 2020.

In 2022, his novel Il sentiero di ghiaia (released in January 2025 under the title Omicidio al lampredotto by Fratelli Frilli Editori) was a finalist for the “Premio Alberto Tedeschi.” His short story La finale di Mexico '86 (Delos Digital, 2023) was a finalist for both the “Premio Gran Giallo Cittą di Cattolica” and the “Termini Book Festival.”

In 2024, two new works were published: the space thriller Loop 52 (e-book edition by Delos Digital and print edition by Isenzatregua Edizioni), and the dark romance Il malnato (Delos Digital).

His short story L'ultima volta che vidi Leone Serafini, featuring the same protagonist as Omicidio al lampredotto, won the 2024 Neroma Prize and will be published in the appendix of Giallo Mondadori Classico in June 2025.

With the short story Rena, sudore e sangue, he will also be featured in the anthology Delitti in cittą, to be published in Giallo Mondadori in September 2025.
