Torey Rain

Torey Rain (aka Aaron Kubacak) is a novelist living in Austin, TX. They are pleased to offer you Queer Stories from Outer Space, a dark pulp fiction fantasy/sci fi series that highlights unique characters and contemporary issues examined under the lens of a mythic, satirical, far distant future. Torey is very interested in gender, gender politics and drag. Their alter ego holds an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin.

His Infernal Juggernaut is their first published novel and the first in the Outer Space series. Book 2, Pearl of Heaven, which focuses on a gay Imperial intergalactic intelligence spy with a troubled past and was released spring 2022. Book 3, Scarlet Revolution to be released winter 2025, is about a Ella a trans artist who comes across a relic that seems to grant her every wish, but not without a price.
