If great stories have the ability to transport you to other worlds, then great children's stories should do the same but with the addition of a warm blanket and hot chocolate.
These kind of stories were much needed in the case of Ewain, growing up in Scotland, where the winters are long, dark and a wee bit on the chilly side.
Ewain hopes to write stories that give you that feeling of warmth, think sound of rain on the window and a pair of woolen socks.
Having worked in the field of mental health and homelessness for 8 years, he understands the value in having a chance to take a breath, unwind, slow down and reflect. Stories are a chance for us to reconnect, learn and build empathy and compassion. Ewain hopes to achieve this with his stories and also have a little bit of fun.
