Dr. Barry Raebeck is a professional educator, author, and consultant. Having received his BA in English with High Honors from Wesleyan University, Barry earned his MS in Reading and Elementary Education from Long Island University, and his PhD summa cum laude in Educational Leadership from the University of Virginia. He has served as a teacher, counselor, coach, advisor, principal, headmaster, director of curriculum, and has a college admission consulting business, Your College.
The author of a novel, Tyger on the Crooked Road: William Blake--Poet, Painter, Prophet, as well as a dozen articles in the field of education, and two books, Transforming Middle Schools: Guide to Whole-School Change, and The Teacher's Gradebook: Strategies for Student Success, Barry has presented over a hundred times on educational topics. He also has lectured in England on the inspirational life of William Blake.
Barry and his wife Susan live in East Hampton NY. They have three grown daughters and three grandchildren.
