US President Franklin D Roosevelt once said: “When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on”.

In 27 years of life, I have tied innumerable knots just to hang on and I douse the knots with faith in myself. Life’s not perfect, it is like a rollercoaster ride, with more downs than ups. I have learned from the downs and celebrated even the smallest jerk upwards, shaping me into the individual I am today.

They say: “If life gives you a lemon, make a lemonade”, but I believe in saving the seeds, growing lemon trees and when they bear fruits, making some more lemonade and dispensing some lemons to others who need them in their lives.

I desire to be my Mother’s Pride, my Father’s will ,my Brother’s Inspiration, my Friends’ Encouragement, my Mentor’s Honour , my destined Partner’s Belief and my own Hope, leading life with kindness and courage.

Born and raised in Ghaziabad, I have strived to strike a robust balance between academics and co-curricular activities; to enjoy the best of both worlds. I am a State level swimmer, an amateur guitarist and a sucker for old school romance and The 1975 band. I graduated with B.A(Hons) Economics from the University of Delhi.

I sipped from the verses of diverse poets until May 2020, when I penned my first poem. Now I pour my soul, mind and heart through words into a potion, exploring every emotion; serving a dose for others and myself to feel; furthermore, providing a space for self-reflection.

I published my first poem in a Global Digital Anthology, Pluviophile in 2020, based on Mental Health Awareness. Spiced Dreams and Scented Schemes is my second anthology. I published my debut book of prose and poetry 'rather sunsets' in 2021 and 'HEADS.HEARTS.SOULS.ANCHORED.- A tribute to THE 1975' is my second book of prose and poetry.

I don’t have a faint idea of what the destiny has planned for me, but I am a dreamer and dreaming is the only way I know to live.
