Ed Perratore

Ed Perratore writes grounded supernatural horror for readers who crave atmospheric, small-town dread. His books include three horror novels: The Knock from Nobody, The Coven Tree and Hindred Spirits. His fourth published book is the nonfiction work One Man's Journey: A Walk on the Croton Aqueduct Trail, a paean to the river towns of New York’s Hudson Valley. Perratore spent his early career as a damage controlman in the U.S. Coast Guard. Then, for over 40 years, he honed his talent as a writer and editor at Consumer Reports, PC Magazine and other top publications. Still, he remained fascinated with horror fiction, having grown up with TV fare such as Creature Features and Chiller Theater. He lives in Westchester County with his wife, Elena, a short drive from Sleepy Hollow. You can contact him through his personal website, his name plus dot com.
