Amelia Gomez is an avid writer and a children’s book author with a striking fondness for writing children’s books that are educative, entertaining, and fun to read. Amelia developed an affinity for writing and telling riveting stories when she was a child and has passionately nurtured her creative ability to become the savvy author she is today. Amelia’s journey has been greatly influenced by her parents. Growing up in California, Amelia was raised by a mother who encouraged her to read and a father who encouraged her to write her nightly dreams, believing “they will make a great story some day.”

With over 30 years of writing experience, Amelia has refined her craft and created a range of books from children’s books, coloring books, journals, and short stories, one of which was published in a horror magazine. Amelia draws from her life’s experiences to write clear and smoothly flowing stories with an enchanting style that gets the reader hooked to the book. Her children's publications include, We Loved You Before We Met You: A Baby Keepsake Storybook, Word Wars With Mattix, and The Crook-Nose Crocodile.

When Amelia is not crafting ideas for her next literary works, she enjoys creating activity books for kids, painting, and crafting varying items with wood. A mother of 7 and grandmother of 10, Amelia is most passionate about her kids and grandchildren, and is committed to ensuring they grow up to be kind people that will have a beautiful future.
