Chris Haley

His literary works include the autobiographical book of poetry, Obsessions and the radio play the Courtship of Jo and Eddie. Several of his letters, speeches and poetry have been printed in publications and journals as diverse as Catholic Library World, Bay Windows, Northwest Gay and Lesbian reader, Hill Rag and Playboy magazine. In October 2021 he was the 2021 recipient of the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County Literary Arts Award for his cumulative writings, speeches and work within the local and national arts community.

He recently co-directed, UNMARKED, with filmmaker, Brad Bennett, a Capital Region Emmy Nominated documentary which covers efforts to identify and preserve neglected and lost African American cemeteries. Accepted into 9 film festivals, UNMARKED is available here on Amazon, as well as iTunes, and Apple TV. Also, as an actor, singer, Chris has appeared in numerous stage and screen productions among which have been The Wire, America's Most Wanted, Relatively Evil on ID, For My Man on TV One, and, Ain't Misbehavin' at the Claridge Casino and Buck's County Playhouse, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Kiss Me Kate at the Harlequin Dinner Theatre.
