Long Journey

I have been writing short stories and painful poems since I was in middle school. It wasn't until after high school, after the sports, girl crushes, homework, exams and many let downs of life which I experienced early that I had found something within me under the street lightz. My choice of survival ended up giving me a great path toward creativity and many other storytelling experiences. My writing gave me a clearer vision to start Under The Street Lightz Publishing something simple, something solid, something a lot of people across the nation can relate to. A Life unwanted, some choose but more had no choice. I became a Family man some years ago teaching, loving, living, learning and embracing the beauty of the Life giving. I am Blessed through so much past pain i never seek to stare in my rearview but after losing my little brother August, 18 2019 Life it self has and always will be a reflection on what was. I live now to build this foundation through my writing to uplift my family, to take care of my family and to one day leave them with something worth more then the weight in gold. Kendaris Len.
