I have always loved books -- my earliest memory is standing in the children's department at the local library and being amazed at all the books surrounding me that I had access to. I am a life-long reader and learner and still have a love for children's books. And I still surrounded myself with books in every nook and cranny that I can find.

When I read my brain takes the story or facts and reorganizes, recatalogs, and reimagines the content along with other things that I have read or know to create something totally different. So now that I have this information in my head -- what do I do with it? So I write and share it with others and hopefully my wacky world of information can be useful, educational, and enjoyable to another reader out there and somehow our two worlds connect.

I am also a PK (i.e. preacher's kid) but have only really started my spiritual journal recently. Why didn't anyone share this information with me earlier...I think it's because not many know about it....which is really sad. So part of my writing dreams is to share my journey finding a personal relationship with the Lord in hopes that it will encourage others to start or continue their own journey.

If you are wondering what the initials MLS mean at the end of my name...that is my educational degree. MLS stands for Masters in Library Science....which means I'm a professional Librarian. But it also means that I love books, I like to learn, I like to organize information, and I like to share it with others becoming a part of their learning process.
