Jesse Holdaway

My writing career started in kindergarten (technically preschool, but I don't count that since it was mostly illegible) and I won my first writing award in the 4th grade for excellent penmanship and also won awards for fastest typist (8th grade) and best haiku (10th grade). Sadly, I once had eleven guinea pigs but two of them passed away. Always one to make lemons out of lemonade, I wrote two obituaries, both which were published in a newspaper and online. My writing portfolio also contains many letters, including several written to famous celebrities and well-known authors. When not writing, I enjoy listening. My favorite sounds are birds, dripping water, and silence. My mother says I'm the best writer she knows.
