B.J. Dalton

B J Dalton grew up in central New England and was educated in elementary Parochial school. City high school and Clark University in Worcester, Ma. Graduating with degrees in Business Administration and The Humanities. He served with the USAR and was discharged as a Capt USA Corp. Eng. His love of food and the food industry took him to the west coast, where he remained until retiring in 2013 as president of his company. After a three-year residency in Georgetown, Texas, he and his wife settled into their new home in Solivita, Florida. He and his wife will celebrate 50 years of marriage with their daughter Jennifer of Austin. Tx. His career reached a major milestone when he embraced sobriety and a spiritual-based lifestyle over a quarter century ago.

Always a prolific writer, his desire to publish something meaningful about love and recovery resulted in this his first novel.

In 2023, B J's latest memoir highlights his journey in recovery from alcoholism, whereby the Grace of God, he was the roommate of a Trappist Monk named Brother Martin. In his 26-year relationship, he not only remained sober, but he also found a God of Love who always acts lovingly. He also found a friend more pastor than most priests, saintly than all the church saints, a brother, father, and friend, all in this saintly humble Trappist Monk. His first work, Someday, focused on the search for a lasting relationship and the longing for love from childhood through adulthood. In Brother Martin, the author understands the meaning of love and the joy of loving relationships.
