Liam Wandi is a lifelong martial artist with black belts in Karate, Judo and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, and a mathematics teacher based in London, England. In the early 2000s he started writing the popular Jiu-Jitsu blog "The Part Time Grappler", with its focus on helping practitioners balance the demands of life, work and learning Jiu-Jitsu. His articles were eventually published in Martial Arts Illustrated, Jiu-Jitsu Style, Fighter Mag and Blitz Martial Arts.
After years of teaching mathematics and Jiu-Jitsu at an Outstanding secondary school in South London, in addition to conducting thousands of Jiu-Jitsu classes, private lessons and seminars in multiple countries, Liam started mentoring teacher-trainees with great success. He lives in London and spends most of his free time traveling the world to meet people, pet dogs and roll.
