E. Calder

E. Calder is a bilingual writer who lives among books, some of which have been with him for over thirty-five years. He rereads them from time to time, whether for pleasure or as research for a new project.

Currently, he teaches writing workshops and coaches other writers so they can achieve their dream of being published.

He has a strange relationship with food: he can survive for days with barely a few morsels, or he can spend hours preparing a feast for himself. Cooking relaxes him.

Even tho he cannot keep a plant alive for more than a few months, he’s managed to raise his children to adolescence. He thinks it’s now their job to keep themselves alive (that’s why he taught them to cook).

After twelve moves in the last twenty years, with a heavy heart he finally got rid of his moving boxes. He now lives in Cancun, Mexico, from where he visits Bravos and Westeros with Arya, Middle Earth with Frodo and Bilbo, Darkover with the Altons, traverses Droevinka with Leesil and Magyre, or accompanies Ayla, Jondalar, and Wolf through the frozen steppes to get to the Ninth Cave of the Zelandoni.

He hopes that you can enter, from time to time, into the worlds of his creation.
