Maimonides (1138–1204), also known as Rambam, was a towering Jewish philosopher, legal scholar, and physician. Born in Córdoba, Spain, he fled persecution and eventually settled in Egypt, where he served as court physician to the Sultan. His works, including the Mishneh Torah and Guide for the Perplexed, shaped Jewish law and thought for generations.
Brilliant, bold, and deeply rational, Maimonides remains a beacon of faith and reason.
