Joseph F. Persinger

Retired following a career as an award-winning journalist and photographer, Joseph F. Persinger now devotes himself to writing short fiction. His latest collection, "Catfish John and Other Stories," features six new stories and one ("Darkroom") which was previously published. Other publications include "Henry and the Night Sky and Other Stories," also a collection of short fiction, and "The View from Poverty Ridge," a collection of essays — many of them humorous — as well as full color landscape photographs by the author. Persinger and his wife, Judy, reside in the hill country of southern Indiana, an area from which he draws inspiration for many of his stories and characters.
