Melinda Dague

Mindy Dague is a poet and writer. She was born in Dallas, Texas in the 1960’s. She has always loved reading historical fiction, suspense and thrillers, literary fiction, and cookbooks. She hoped that one day she would achieve her life-long dream of publishing a novel. She graduated with a degree in Business Management at Brookhaven College, attended Wheelock College in Boston, MA for a Project Administration course sponsored by Work/Family Directions, and has worked in the non-profit industry for over twenty-nine years.

Growing up in a middle-class family in the Dallas suburbs lent itself to many interesting stories and inspired her to write first manuscript in her twenty’s, for her family, "Growing Up Near Mimosa Park." It was a collection of childhood stories that have found their way into, "Death, Deception, and the Missing Will," as occasional vignettes to give the reader greater insight into her unique family life.
