Hayley Mitchell is an award-winning author whose novels reimagine the forgotten corners of Greek mythology. From cursed prophets and tragic lovers to queens, monsters and outcasts, her stories explore identity, love, sacrifice and the enduring humanity behind the ancient myths.

Winner of the Indies Today Best Poetry Award (2021) and recipient of a Literary Titan Silver Book Award, Hayley combines meticulous research with lyrical prose to create emotionally rich retellings for modern readers.

Before writing mythology, she published children's picture books—including the Readers' Favorite recognised My Healthy Feelings Alphabet—and her debut novel in verse, Breaking Birds.

Away from the page, Hayley is an Early Years teacher, private tutor and qualified Children's Yoga Instructor. She lives in Essex with her husband and three sons, whose curiosity continues to inspire every story she writes.
