Larry D. Struve has devoted more than 25 years to public service in his home state of Nevada. He served as a deputy district attorney in Washoe County, chief deputy for Nevada Attorney General Richard H. Bryan, Governor Bryan's Director of the Department of Commerce, and in the administration of Governor Bob Miller. From 2001 to 2012, Struve served as the legislative advocate for the Religious Alliance in Nevada (RAIN), representing five mainline Christian denominations, in the Nevada State Legislature.

He has written three books regarding his professional experiences:
