Rick McCarthy

Rick & Susan McCarthy have a deep love of the Lord, each other & travel, Rick to over 80 countries & Susan to over 70... so far. They travel about 140 days each year together for pleasure & ministry, not for business, including serving biannually with Un Jour Nouveau in eastern D.R. Congo.

Susan is the author of "Captive to Captivated", sharing her faith journey of being set free from the captivity of lies to being captivated by God's love, told through the lens of her calling "To set the captives free". She also prays with ministry leaders while giving them a safe place to process the hard places on their journeys, & mentors women through spiritual direction & intercession.

Rick has been self-employed as a CPA since 1978, & serves numerous ministries including The Sheepfold, The Master's Program, The Barnabas Group, Standing Stone Ministry, Evangelical Christian Credit Union, Africa New Day, The Pocket Testament League, Q/Relevate & Pacific Justice Institute. Rick's varied experience in helping leaders achieve their organizational, personal & ministry goals along with his passion for helping them raise the bar on their walk with Christ led him, through Bob Shank's The Master's Program, to the convergence of his career & calling to become a Convene Chair- mentoring marketplace & nonprofit leaders one-to-one & through a Biblical, peer-to-peer, wise-counsel advisory board.

Rick & Susan have a son, Patrick, who preceded them to Heaven & to whom this book is dedicated. Their daughter, Jennifer, lives in Palm Desert with her daighter, June. They reside in newport beach, California, & have a shared passion to mentor couples.
