Mr Michael Seldon Wall

Born on the west coast of Canada in October 1947, I have lived most of my life in England and went to school in the wilds of leafy Surrey. A sudden change in my career plans saw me switch from medical to business studies and then into the wickedly wonderful world of international supply chain management. It took me to some of the most remote parts of the world, searching for elusive products and suppliers.

Two children, three grandchildren, and several business ventures later, I decided to retire.

It was at this point that my inner desire to write was allowed to flower. What started as a bit of fun for the grandchildren and the production of several short stories and poems expanded rapidly. A fully illustrated fairy tale called The Blue Fairy was launched, closely followed by my first novel, The Blue Crown, and it sequel, The Long Dragon. While these books were aimed at the children’s and young adult market they also appear to have a following in some of the more mature age groups.

This led me into the publication of a series of short stories under the title - Reflections on life. As the introduction says - Some will make you laugh, some may make you sad, but all will make you think.

My next publication due later in 2023 is called - Shortridge. It’s a historical fiction aimed at the adult market, and launches the Shortridge family dynasty under the reign of Henry Viii. Spies, international political intrigue, sex and, of course, a touch of real life based on recorded events and people of the time, but with a twist.
