Isabelle Chappuis

Isabelle Chappuis is an economist by training and an expert in continuing education.

She is passionate about the Future of Work and the place of humans within it.

After her Master’s degree in marketing and human resources from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, and a few years working in finance and reinsurance in Zurich, she has held leading positions in Executive education at the University of Lausanne for 15 years.

She has been Director of the Executive MBA program of at HEC Lausanne, the Faculty of Business & Economics of the University of Lausanne (UNIL), and then founder and Director of the Executive Education entity of the Faculty, before she moved on to the Future.

Isabelle bet on her curiosity and competence about the Future of Work, the Future of Skills and the many challenges and opportunities lying ahead. She founded and is now the Director of the Futures Lab, the foresight unit of HEC Lausanne, bringing foresight and education together to help humans take back ownership of their future.

Isabelle Chappuis is fluent in French, German, and English.

In 2020 she was elected to the Forum des 100, the group of the 100 personalities who shape the French-speaking part of Switzerland.

Ms Chappuis regularly gives keynotes on Future of Work and Positive Futures. She genuinely cares about people, transitions,

and accelerating their success.
