Alejandra Orozco

Alejandra is a researcher and development practitioner who, for the past 19 years, has been living and working in Africa and the Americas. Originally from Colombia, Alejandra has been closely involved with understanding the nature of development approaches and their impact on local and indigenous communities' empowerment.

Her international experience working alongside local and indigenous communities and doing applied research to protect communal land and resource rights became her inspiration to support groups and individuals' empowerment to both assert their rights and change their personal and social reality.

Since 2019, Alejandra has been working both as a development practitioner, helping to transform how we do development and using PSYCH-K® to support the healing of people dealing with trauma or stress.

This first book from the Conscious Awareness Series is part of Alejandra's effort to support a shift in human consciousness. She holds profound respect for the wisdom and brilliant work of Florence Scovel Shinn, and she is enchanted to participate in sharing her work in a bilingual format for easy access to Hispanic American and Latin American communities.
