It takes courage to face each day; sometimes more, sometimes less. You or someone you know may feel overwhelmed, perhaps with a challenging health diagnosis. Or like Little Pumpkin you feel left out, alone and scared and wondering what happens next. But each day and every moment we can find the courage that lives inside us.
An award-winning and #1 bestselling author, LINDA BRYCE, M.A, is a life-long educator and workshop/retreat leader who has created and published children’s activities and materials for home and classroom as well as adult seasonal and spiritual study materials. One fun ‘job’ was as a visiting artist in elementary schools, introducing youngsters to silkscreen printing.
The death of her husband led Linda to hundreds of bedsides as a singer to the dying, a hospice vigil volunteer, recipient of a professional certificate as an end-of-life doula and ordination.
He is also involved in her Old Oak and Little Pumpkin book, which is based on one story he created and told at bedside while tucking in their four children. A wonderful writer who did not seek to publish, Linda shares co-author credit with him on this first title in the Little Pumpkin Series.
When Linda is not writing, you may find her hiking—and always singing. During her 130-mile solo trek around the Isle of Anglesey, Wales, she wrote Be at Peace, an often-sung favorite.
