Douglas Wesley Weeks

I've been a counselor, writer, editor, social worker, cab driver, farmhand, pastor, missionary, contented husband, delighted father, proud grandfather, stunned great grandfather, and now I do a lot of thinking about this world and where it's headed. My name? D. Wesley Weeks (aka Doug Weeks). I'm concerned about seemingly benign but the dangerously blind current trend of consolidating control in the hands of a few. My books attempt to illuminate age-old conflicts between those in control and those being controlled. Characters in my stories face fierce opposition to changes they seek. The good they desire is seldom achieved. But steps they take in the right direction inspire hope. And seeds of wisdom sown provide guidance for those who think.
