Chris Clevenger

Chris Clevenger was born in rural Alabama in 1986 and spent his childhood in the southeastern United States. He began a career in Christian ministry at 18. In 2015, Chris moved to Austin and began working in the hospitality industry, a path that led to a five-year stint in Birmingham before returning to Austin in 2024. Sons of Dust, his first book, was published in 2015. Pilgrim in God’s Country, a novel, was published in April 2021.
