Gemma Gené

Gemma Gené is a Barcelona-born author, illustrator, creator, and renowned visual artist based in Los Angeles. She is best known as the creator of Living with Mochi, the beloved comic inspired by life with her pug, Mochi, and the wonderfully chaotic family around him.

What began as drawings about everyday life with a very opinionated pug grew into a character world followed by readers around the world. Gemma is the author and illustrator of "Mi vida con Mochi", "Living With Mochi", and "Mochi’s Pugpyhood", bringing together humor, expressive illustrations, and affectionate observations about dogs, family, friendship, and everyday life.

Originally trained as an architect, Gemma has always been a visual storyteller. She lives in Los Angeles with her family and dogs, who continue to provide more material than she could ever possibly use.
