Chef Ciro Russo

The COOKBOOK ACADEMY was born in 2019 as the initiative of Ciro Russo who is an authentic Neapolitan chef, a passionate enthusiast of the culinary traditions from all over the world.

He was born in Queens in 1983, son of a Neapolitan chef and of a New Yorker journalist. He has been absorbing his father’s cooking teachings from an early age, developing an insatiable curiosity for the traditional Italian cuisine as well as French, Spanish, Greek and Arabic.

Ciro decided to share his experience and the recipes learned during his journeys to these countries but the constant request of help from his friends and followers' made him realize that something was missing from the usual cooking book so he created the COOKBOOK ACADEMY, a new and innovative way to cook where he guides step by step the aspiring chefs with his voice.
