More than 25 years ago a sweet lady at church gave me a blue rooster tea pot as a birthday present. It was quite appealing, because it was a bit quirky and unusual! Unfortunately the teapot was lost when we moved, but it was the start of a well-loved collection of roosters. Today I have roosters ranging from a kitchen towel I found on clearance to a prized portrait of a rooster by Chef Jacques Pepin. My husband and I went to France in November 2019 and went to southeast France to the city of Beaune. We stayed at a family owned hotel and in the front yard was a wonderful surprise, the large rooster featured in the picture. I knew immediately I wanted to pose with Sir Rooster and memorialize this wonderful snippet of our second honeymoon!
