Anthony Byrne

I am a retired auditor with a background of fraud investigations within local government.

As well as working with fraud and crime I am also a great lover of murder mysteries, both written and televised. As with many things in life, chance meetings and conversations led me to consider writing crime fiction novels. I set out on what proved to be an exciting, challenging and interesting journey and have thoroughly enjoyed the whole process.

I hope that you enjoy reading the books as much as I have enjoyed writing them.

In my spare time I like to get out with my family, usually involving sight-seeing and taking in National Trust establishments and parkland. I love the outdoors, experiencing this through a mixture of hill walking and cycling, mainly the latter. I’m told I enjoy DIY, but I am not convinced on that one.

I am married and live in Crosby.
